Community guidelines
Last updated: October 21, 2026
The community lets you share your video templates and use other people’s. To keep it pleasant and useful, every post follows these guidelines.
1. Post what belongs to you
Only post templates you created, with images, videos, music, sounds, fonts and logos you have the right to use and share. Don’t use another person’s or company’s name, face, logo or brand without their consent.
2. What you allow by posting
You keep ownership of your template. By posting it, you allow:
- Motion Studio users to use and adapt it to create their own videos, including for commercial use (for example an ad for a client);
- WebXpansion to host it, display it in the app and showcase it, for example in a selection or a demo.
You can remove your template at any time. Videos already made with it remain their creators’.
3. Respectful content
No violent, hateful, discriminatory, sexual, offensive or illegal content. No content that harasses or targets a person. No false information presented as true.
4. Honest, useful templates
The title, description and category match the template. No spam, no misleading advertising, no hidden links or content. A template must work normally in Motion Studio.
5. Your name in the community
Your display name is public: choose one that follows these guidelines and doesn’t impersonate anyone. Your email address is never shown.
6. Review and moderation
Every template is reviewed before it’s visible to everyone. We may reject, hide or remove a template, or suspend an account, if it breaks these guidelines or the law. We tell you why when a template is rejected or removed.
A decision can be challenged by emailing contact@webxpansion.com.
7. Reporting a template
If a template seems to break these guidelines, report it from its card. Every report is reviewed. A template reported several times may be hidden while it’s reviewed.
8. Responsibility
Each creator is responsible for what they post. Community templates are provided as is: check that the result suits you before sharing your video. WebXpansion is not responsible for content posted by users or for how anyone uses the videos they create.
These rules are part of the Motion Studio Terms of use.
9. Changes to the guidelines
These guidelines may change. The current version is always available here.
